Talk at NUS Central Library this time

Category : Singapore Naturalist

Another one of those things I agreed to in the heat of the moment Now wondering what exactly I was thinking about when I penned the title.

Since I will be stuck at NUS Central's Forum over the next two days (interview Toddycats! applicants), I suppose I can prepare the talk then. Just have to copy my pictures database to the fast, external harddisk. Hmm..maybe go back and do that tonight.

"Confessions of an environmental activist in Singapore: motivations, actions and results!"

Wednesday 4th October 2006: 5pm-6.30pm
Theatrette 1, Central Library NUS
In conjunction with NUSSU SAVE's Green Carnival.

N. Sivasothi a.k.a. Otterman of NUS' Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research and manager of the

Raffles Museum Toddycats! will share with the audience some of the beauty of the wildlife and ecosystems that motivated him to trudge through mangroves, delve into public education, conservation and coordinate cleanups for almost two decades now!

He will elaborate on some candid and interesting stories from his experiences in the forests, mangroves and seas of Southeast Asia, and how some of these methods have changed with the times. Sivasothi is a great story-teller with lots of colourful slides and exciting footage so expect a great time!
