Last night Ladybug, Cat and Chi rode to Kranji via Bukit Timah, a bicycling track adjacent to footpath in Bukit Batok/Bt Gombak, Choa Chu Kang, Sg Tengah and Lim Chu Kang. We raced through these areas during Hunt On Wheels so it was quite nice to revisit familiar territory! The view of Johor all lit up at night from Kranji reservoir was very interesting and we stopped to take in the sights.
We rode back our usual way via Sungei Kadut and Bukit Timah. All in all, we must have crossed railway tracks or their vicinity at least six times and heard the KTM trains at least three times. We stopped for drinks or kopi at a couple of petrol stations, Sungei Kadut and Bukit Timah, but our pursuit of Size N batteries failed (must get from Sim Lim or a bike shop). The ride that had started at 10.30pm, ended by 2.30am and we clocked some 50km.
nice ride, quite cold but I've just about lost all signs of the November flu. Too late to make my 88th blood donation though; will have to do that in January 2006.
