Xylo vs Catnip

Category : meow

Xylo has been beating Jim Fowler's anti-keyboard-typing-cat programme, CatNip more often now. Xylo flops onto the keyboard and is now able to wreak marginal havoc before CatNip kicks in. I know its just probability catching up.

The trouble is, the pattern of increasing success and the look on his face (see below) suggests that he is learning to beat the system. My suspicions were first raised when I caught him examining CatNip the other day - I think he was trying to see if he could type "human" like it says so on the screen (what a give away!)

I'm afraid he's planning to email other cats about this and cat-bloggers like Jelly will then spread the word to the cat blogosphere. Then we'll be in trouble.

If you have CatNip installed on your mac and you have caught your cat staring at the screen too often recently, please set a password lock for your screen saver - when your cat is not looking. Its best if you waylay the feline out in the open with a delicious snack and keep the kitty in your line of sight as you key in the password. It's also good if your cat cannot see your fingers move over the keyboard for they might bee able to figure out the password!

Else we'll never get work done and be slaves to our cats.

CatNip beats Xylo *Yaay!*

Xylo caught in the act,
studying CatNip? *Hmmm*

Xylo beats CatNip *rats!, I mean cats!*
