Yesterday tutorial...

Category : museum

Now I can post this; not that yesterday was any real secret; e pur si muove noted its existence last week already.

24 Feb 2006 - Shaun accompanied me back after our first Museum Roundtable meeting this year, which was held at the Chinese Heritage Centre, at NTU - I was last there for a cycling event in 2003.

Shaun was responding to some queries I had about structure and the technical aspects of the Museum Roundtable blog and we talked in the taxi and he ended up in the Raffles Museum.

Yup, the Museum Roundtable is launching a blog AND webpage/portal and Shaun has killed himself getting it ready. Each time we cautiously ventured a suggestion, it got implemented by the time I refreshed the page. Faster don have.

Actually I was struggling to contribute as much input as I could before the launch but ended up torturing Shaun. Dude!Well, it was not just me, there were other guilty parties...

Webpage - http://www.museums.com.sg/

As you might have noticed, yesterday.sg is not only a suitable name for what hopes to be a conduit for heritage content, it is a hat tip to tomorrow.sg which has set all kinds of blogging firsts for Singapore, debates and all.

The photos and comments below were just inane chatter, as Shaun and I were both very tired after a week full of deadlines. I was also showing off the paces of my Mac while he drooled. Poor lad; while I only have one article to submit later tonight, Shaun's got IPPT tomorrow morning!!

All the best, dude! Wonder how he did; he was walking wounded when we left the museum; luckily he had a bodyguard.

"Why no one reads my instructions?"

"So complicated!" (I was just being facetious; a word I love)

"Bring back the trishaw, dude." Relax brudder, just joking.
